About the Committee on Organizational and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The Polish Academy of Sciences is a state scientific institution operating through an elected body of scientists and institutions of science. The Academy serves the development of science, its promotion, integration and dissemination, and contributes to the development of education and enrichment of the national culture. The Polish Academy of Sciences, as a corporation of scholars, consists of members of the Academy and members of scientific committees.

The Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences serve as bodies representing various research circles and disciplines. Members of The Committee on Organizational and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences are elected by the research communities in Poland. The Committee has been operating since 1969 with a mission to stimulate the development of management science in Poland and to promote research findings.
